Aldo’s offers a choice of hand-tossed or extra thin crust, and there are four sizes available, from the medium 12″ to the jumbo 18″. There are twelve specialty pizzas available. They also offer a make-your-own option you can customize to your heart’s and stomach’s content. Our favorite is the deluxe pizza, with red sauce, onions, mushrooms, green peppers, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni, topped with Aldo’s signature cheese blend.
Moe’s Restaurant
Moe’s is known for its comfortable, friendly atmosphere, amazing service, and fantastic pizza. They’re family owned and managed and believe in treating everyone who visits like family. One of their features is an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet that’s always well stocked with fresh, hot pizza.
There are sixteen delicious specialty pizzas to choose from, all of which are available in 12″ or 16″. Our gluten-free friends love the fact that Moe’s has a 10″ gluten-free pizza option available. Our favorite is the cheeseburger pizza, with a mustard and ketchup base, beef, and garnished with pickles. You can find Moe’s at 499 Grand Avenue.
Philly’s Pizza
Philly’s is a short distance from us at 207 Depot Street, Marthasville, but it’s worth the 12-minute drive. We like their great vibe, including the option to draw on the walls or take up the challenge of eating their giant 30″ pizza. The fun and friendly atmosphere are guaranteed to bring out the kid in both young and old alike.
You can choose St. Louis-style thin base or Chicago-style deep dish, and they have sixteen choices available. Our special favorite is the deep dish hula hula pizza with bacon, pineapple, and ham.
